I am fascinated by the human need to control chaos. This work is part of my Samaras series, inspired by maple seeds and bladder wort on the surface of a pond. Layers of hand-dyed and painted silks burst through the surface, unfolding in a riot of color. Mysterious organic forms degrade and morph. Do you see beauty in the chaos?
