The Image is assembled with repeat digital printing. The process reflects the subject. After so many years of assimilation the family traditions faded and finally the culture was lost. We have German origins but no cultural heritage. As second and third generation we have a heritage based purely in Post WW2 America. They Blended Well. We are American. This piece is both a lament about my missing sense of heritage and a celebration of my unfettered lightness of being free from old traditions.
