When I had breast cancer treatment a few years ago, all went well. There was one unexpected side effect: a year of creative block. It lifted, like fog, slowly, with small images appearing in the clear air. The images grew and refused to be hemmed in by rectangles and squares. In healing, I was gifted with a new direction, a "renewal" series, which continues.
