This is a Turquoise Kiln-carved glass plate was hand cut into 2 circles, then fused in the kiln, the the peony carvings were placed under the glass circle, then refired in order to achieve the design. It was then slumped into a shallow plate. The diameter of the circle is 9.2". The clear Turquoise glass with the Peony flowers, leaves will allow light to shine through.
