About the Curators:
Enrico Giorando
Enrico Giordano was Associate Professor of Arts at the College of Mt. St. Vincent for forty-two years; ten of which he served as Chair of the Fine Arts Department. He is also a mixed media artist. In his careers as professor and artist he: co-created a major interdisciplinary program in Visual Art and Experimental Media (VAEM). Giordano received a five-year Annenberg Foundation grant thru which he created teacher training workshops for several schools in the NYC public school system, these workshops were based on ideas developed from his art.
Michele Amaro
Michele Amaro is the Gallery Director and Assistant Executive Director of Blue Door Art Center since 2018. Michele has a degree from Philadelphia College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, in Industrial Design. She has worked in non-profit organizations for the last 15 years.
