Creating Art with your smartphone and tablet
Facilitated by Jean Messner, painter and digital artist
This will be a two part session: Saturday, October 31st and Saturday, November 7th from 1-2:30. The second workshop will be a more in depth review of art applications.
If you are an artist but may be intimidated by using technology, then you will want to attend this exciting workshop.
Jean can speak from experience that she was one of those artists, intimidated by technology. She has fallen in love with her iPad and all of the "tools" that are available to artists. The artist tools on the iPad that will be demonstrated resemble actual artists' tools.
The first hour and half Jean will speak about the process and showing the tools on her iPad. The remaining time will be spent on demonstrations and sharing of student's creations. A short question and answer will follow the demonstration.
Participants are encouraged to bring their electronic devices to follow along and to download apps before day of workshop.
Participants will have the opportunity to order prints online at the end of each workshop. Price of workshop does not include cost of printing; each person will need to pay for his or her prints at end of workshop.
$20 BDAA members/$25 BDAA non-members; RSVP before day of event as workshop tends to fill up quickly.
