Facilited by Jean Messner, established artist
If you are an artist but may be intimidated by using technology, then you will want to attend this
exciting workshop.
Jean can speak from experience that she was one of those artists, intimidated by technology. She has fallen in love with her iPad and all
of the "tools" that are available to artists. The artist tools on the iPad that will be demonstrated resemble actual artists' tools.
She discovered when she was creating an art piece using oils, she made many mistakes and was not be able to go back to the
original. She felt she was wasting a lot of materials. When she started using her iPad, she took a picture of the original painting and could
experiment on the iPad until she created something more favorable. Then she would go back to her canvas and paint the favored piece on her iPad. This
process freed her from the fear of making mistakes and from wasting materials.
The first hour will be Jean speaking about the process and showing the tools on her iPad. The second hour will spent on demonstrations.
Participants are encouraged to bring their electronic devices to follow along.
A short question and answer will follow the demonstration.
