Children's "Art With A Story" Workshop
Sunday, November 9th 2:00-5:00 p.m.
This children's workshop will begin with a very short film called "I Can Fly: Kids and Creativity", from a series of short films made to stimulate and educate the artists in all of us!
We will then take a guided tour of the current gallery exhibit, John Nieman's "Art With A Story", as an understanding of Art Galleries, Exhibitions and the importance of Art Appreciation as well as expression.
We will waste no time to get started on the hands on drawing, coloring, or painting that the children want to make from the medium of their choice. From that, the kids will Tell the Tale behind the Art; a chance for them to practice a bit of prose writing and storytelling. A picture says infinite words!
Light refreshments will be served during the film. All art supplies are provided. Please bring a cover up for your child if you know they love to paint. The fun begins at 2 pm. Don't miss any part of it!
Workshop fee is $5 per child.
