Artists for Water & Creator’s Art Film Series (Part I)
Blue Door Gallery is hosting Artists for Water, this October, in support of Global Frackdown. On October 11, communities across the world are coming together for a global protest to call for a ban on Fracking, a dangerous method of drilling for natural gas that puts our air, water, climate and communities at risk.
Friday, Oct 10th - 6:30pm - Gasland 1 & Public Artistic Commentary (Open Mic)
Artists for Water is a three part film screening and acknowledgement, including Creator's Art: WaterFilm Series, Post-Film Open Mic for Public Artistic Commentary, and our Art Exhibition Reception on the day of Global Frackdown.
Our Post Film Open Mic for Public Artistic Commentary will give artists the chance to express how they feel about Fracking and how protecting our earth and water inspired them as artists. We encourage artists to bring any Artwork, Songs, or Poetry that are inspired by Water, Earth, and Ecological Consciousness. Feel free to join a short Writer's workshop to create a Letter to the Governor.
