This is a parent or guardian and child event, ages 5 - 12. Join us for our the first trip of our Community Artist Residency at the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center in Tarrytown, NY. We will tour the outdoor sculpture garden with a curator, then we will visit the art studio where you and your child/children sculpt air-dry clay together with a teaching artist. Please pack a brown bag lunch and drink for you and your child. No glass please. We will meet at the Blue Door Art Center at 9:40am and depart at 10am, estimated return time between 2 - 3pm.
Space is limited. Email us your request at info@bluedoorartcenter.org with Clay and Play in the subject line. and we will email you back to confirm. Let us know the name of the parent or legal guardian and the names and ages of your children and your phone number. We will use a car service to travel to and from the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center. Only those with a confirmed reservation can attend.
During our six-month Community Arts Residency, Blue Door Art Center will have multiple opportunities to bring our community to the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at Pocantico. Stay tuned for more exciting events.
