This piece is a study of the visual language that Hilma af Klint developed over her legendary years of pioneering abstraction. The composition and color palette is largely inspired by the print “Chrysanthemums and Bee” by Katsushika Hokusai. While this piece began as just a study, it did develop into a full scale album cover for the song “Tender Heart” by singer/songwriter Michael Manzi.
