I am an artist of many different mediums as well as directions. I have been a commercial artist, art therapist, art teacher and fine artist. My work is influences by female beauty. Captivating soft feminine curves in my paintings and soft to the touch sculptures. The fluid flowing sensual paintings have a timeless motion and spirit. My work is heavily influenced by textures. I enjoy art that you can feel and touch. Often I allow the viewer to experience the texture by touching. Most of my work is in acrylic with heavy gel medium, but I also do watercolors, pastel, oil pastel, ceramics, sculpture and more. My favorite sculptures are molded and poured with silicone and dye. They can go with lights to allow color to pour through them. The transparent sculpture have a soft glass look but are very strong unlike glass can be tossed across the room without damage.

I received a BFA from Pratt Institute, MA and MFA in process from New York Institute of technology. I started out as a fine artist out of high school. My first show was for Oak Park Guild in Oak Park, IL. I showed several paintings for over the months during summer between high school and college. After that I moved to being a commercial artist creation art through illustration, graphic design, art director and even video. I worked as a commercial artist for seventeen years. My career as commercial artist slowed to raise children. After raising my children for a short time, I began moving back to fine arts. I started a job at Four Winds Hospital in an Art Therapy department. Working with all ages of people from many different walks of life. Helping build a therapeutic language using art. This position helped me to build a career as a teacher of art and a therapist. In which, I have done for years. Since Four Winds, I have worked with all ages as well a large variety of medium teaching art. I currently work as a Recreation Therapist for Cabrini of Westchester Adult Day Health Center. My current part time job is with Paintnite. Help adult get through a painting while enjoying themselves in a nighttime environment. A party theme! I also have a VIDA Co. clothing line, teach with Grumbacher, design for CSEA Union and private clients. I am member of the Peekskill Art Alliance and an owner of a Peekskill Art Loft.
