John Pavlou

John Pavlou

I was born and raised in Yonkers. After studying architecture and interior design, I decided to dedicate myself to sculpture. I have been creating and exhibiting for over 15 years. I have worked in a wide variety of media and styles, but my work is primarily abstract. I am interested in how sculpture and place-making can invoke and be an adjunct to spiritual experience. Using light, form, volume, and color, I hope to create inviting, challenging and evocative place-objects that open a timeless space between spaces.
