This is a parent or guardian and teen event, ages 10 - 15. Join us for a trip to the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center in Tarrytown, NY. We will tour the outdoor sculpture garden with a curator, then we will visit the art studio where you and your teen will paint frisbees together with, teaching artist, Evan Bishop. Please pack a brown bag lunch and drink for you and your teen. No glass please. After lunch we will have a game of frisbee. We will meet at the Blue Door Art Center at 9:40am and depart at 10am, estimated return time between 2 - 3pm.
Space is limited. Email us your request at info@bluedoorartcenter.org with Clay and Play in the subject line. and we will email you back to confirm. Let us know the name of the parent or legal guardian and the names and ages of your children and your phone number. We will use a car service to travel to and from the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center. Only those with a confirmed reservation can attend.
During our six-month Community Arts Residency, Blue Door Art Center will have multiple opportunities to bring our community to the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at Pocantico. Stay tuned for more exciting events.
