These workshops will expand your writing repertoire and explore,”finding and utilizing your platform/performing voice and persona”. Your observational and listening skills will be strengthened. Your speaking/performing voice is integral to the creative writing process. A communications perspective combined with traditional and non-traditional approaches will facilitate and enhance your discovery of yourself as writer/poet/speaker/performer.
Workshops will include: prompts and exercises that jumpstart your writing, non-judgmental techniques that strengthen your writing, Muti-sensory excursuses to stimulate the creative process. Please bring a snack.
