Our December 1st Art & Wine Time event will be a presentation by one of Off The Wall’s co-founders and field coordinators, Ken Davis, and one of program’s superb artists, Frank Gigante, aka MASE-1. Ken Davis will present his interpretation of the graffiti identity. Frank Gigante will present his artwork (graffiti and tattoos) since his first tag.
During the 1990s, the Yonkers Community Action Program, Youth Service Bureau, and the NY State Health Department AIDS Institute invested in a community based graffiti art program called Off The Wall. OTW recruited a number of graffiti writers and artists to generate a variety of canvases, along with legalized pieces and productions on HIV/AIDS throughout Lower Westchester.
$5 suggested donation. Must be 21+ to attend. Wine and light snacks will be provided.
